The last full family photo for a while

It was a happy day (and a little bit of a sad day).

Here's our whole family including our newest member, Jack! It was really great to have a couple of weeks with all of us in the same area after Jack was born. However, the full family picture below will have to last for a while. Bradley left to go back to college last Saturday and Jeremy leaves to go on his mission 3 weeks from today, so this photo will need to last us for at least two years.

Even though we'll be separated for a while, we're very pleased that Bradley is in school and that Jeremy has decided to go on a mission.

PS, this photo was taken in Jason and Brianna's backyard.

The little family at home

Just a few more shots of Jack and Mom and Dad. Jack is doing really well. Babies grow so fast, so we have to take a few more pictures.

We know, it's not really a smile, but you've got to admit he is really cute!

It's so funny but even a little yawn makes us all smile.

After only a few days at home, they are all doing great. Jason and Brianna are naturals at being parents. They make a beautiful family!

And Carmine is adjusting well to having a baby around. He's very curious about this bundle that Brianna and Jason don't let him play with or even lick. Hopefully, Jack and Carmine will be the best of friends.

The long awaited arrival has arrived

He's here!!!!
We've been awaiting the arrival of our first grandchild and Thursday, March 29th, he arrived. I do believe he is THE MOST BEAUTIFUL baby in the world.

He is 6 lbs 9 oz 19 inches and perfect in every way. His name is .............
JACK

Here he is with his beautiful mama.

Grandma and Grandpa couldn't be any prouder of little Jack.

Jeremy's 19th birthday

I just have to add a short entry for Jeremy's birthday. He turned 19 and we kept it pretty low key, just presents - mission stuff and cake.

But then he went to work and we decided to decorate his room and short sheet his bed. He was a little bit surprised when he went to bed that night.
