What's for dinner?????

Friday dinner is decided by the winner of the Sunday evening game championship (tonight it was Rumi-Cube). Jeremy must be cheating somehow because he seems to be winning often. We are going to get tired of Pizza Hut! Please somebody else win (except Rick because he says that if he wins, we're have Brussel Sprouts)!

Jeremy seems to prefer not getting his picture taken. We can't figure out why, both his parents were hams whenever a camera was around when they were growing up. :-)

Closer...
(at least we got a face shot, but slightly goofy).

Okay, there you go.
Even Jeremy can't always say "no" when his mom asks him nicely for a nice photo.

Fall Foliage

Fall Foliage

Here WAS the view off our deck. This was about 3 weeks ago, it was a Sunday afternoon and the temperature was in the low 80's. The leaves have all fallen off now, and it's been chilly the past 10 days or so.

This is also off our deck...

This one was taken down the road...

Uncle Paul's Visit

Uncle Paul came to town for a conference and then spent the weekend with us. It was great fun. We went and explored the new Lewis and Clark Museum. It had a full size replica of their boat that was split in half , so we could see inside and explore. Way cool.

Next we visited the a Lock and Dam. We were able to take a tour and walk across the top of it in the Mississippi River. It was more than a little bit WINDY and COLD. Paul and Spencer didn't have a coat and I lent mine to Spencer, so we didn't stay long. But we hope to go back sometime and watch a barge go through it.

Next we stopped in to see the statue of the World's tallest man. It is his actual height so you can see how tall he was. Check out Michael's foot compared to his.
It was GREAT having Uncle Paul here. He just didn't stay long enough for me. Hopefully, next time he'll come and bring the whole family. We always can think of something fun to see or do, just try us.

Mom's birthday, otherwise known as Halloween

Rick bought me flowers and a card and Ali & Brad sent flowers too. Paula D. made me a Santa. He is about two feet tall and amazing detail. I also received some really nice cards. Thank you!

Michael and Spencer went as a Jedi and a Clone Warrior.

a Wii bit of fun

The boys really enjoy the Wii. They get so mesmerized by it. I don't think they even blink. One of their favorite games is Mario Kart. They keep asking a friend to bring it over so that they can play. I hope they get one for Christmas.

"...and the kitchen sink"

I know it's silly to be so excited about a sink, but I am!!! Every since we moved into this house, we have not been please with the very shallow sink with no sprayer. So when Lowe's ran a special for sinks plus $49.00 for installation, we bought a deeper sink and the pull down sprayer faucet. It is SO fun!!! It has been so great and Spencer even said he would do more dishes.
