It's never as easy as we think it is

I just had to label this post, "It's never as easy as we think it is." We bought a spec house and decided that we need to change out one of the toilets because they are always clogging. So in our typical fashion, we researched and researched until we found the best toilet at the best price. Of course, it was on the internet. So we bought it and waited for it to come. It arrived late on Friday night and we decided to put it in right away. Rick and I have put in many toilets so it wasn't a daunting task to us. But then "it's never as easy as we think it is" So we took out the old toilet and put it in the garage. We took the new one out of the box and took it upstairs and then noticed that it was cracked through and couldn't be used. BUMMER!!! I called the company and of course they were closed until Monday. So we went down to the garage to find a place to put the toilet until we could get a replacement and to bring up the old one to reinstall it. And in the rearranging of things, I acccidently knocked over the old toilet, shattering it. Rick said he watched it in slow motion but couldn't get the words out. I didn't know anything was wrong until I heard the crash. I didn't even feel touching it. So now we are minus a toilet and the new one is on back order. Hopefully, it will show up soon. "It just never is as easy as we think."
