GO WEST YOUNG MAN! (& YOUNG WOMAN!)

GO WEST YOUNG MAN!
(& YOUNG WOMAN!)

Another road trip to Utah! We've lived in Missouri for 17+ years & we've gone to Utah 17+ times. Our kids are used to it by now, and they are good travelers.

Lots of cousins & lots of sleep-overs...

Alisa and the boys went to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house!

We went to Antelope Island (out in the Great Salt Lake) with Rick's sister Anita.

We went to the Golden Spike National Historic Site with Anita later the same day as well.

Utah State Capital Bldg

SR-71 Blackbird Airplane at the Hill AFB Museum

Rexburg, ID Temple

Yellowstone geyser

old faithful (my wife) & Old Faithful the geyser.

Lower Falls of the Yellowstone

We stopped and saw Little Bighorn Historic Site (Custer's last stand) in Montana

Here's Devil's Tower in Wyoming

Mt. Rushmore

Can you see all the bugs on the bumper cover? It was a LONG road trip!

We stopped in Sioux Falls, SD and this museum told about the great riverboat pilot "Captain Massie", check out the label above Spencer's face!
We had another great trip to visit family and even see a few sites as well. Our kids look forward every year to going out west and seeing family. We hope we weren't too much of an imposition. See you next year!

Wow! What a wonderful vacation. It looks like you fit in a lot during your visit. You visited some of my very favorite places. I guess that was your "one last hoorah" before the wedding!!! I enjoyed looking at all the great pictures!!

I have to say that I am SO jealous of the vacations you guys take! They are so the type I would love to do with our kids...hopefully when they get a little older we can start to do them. Glad you had fun!

What great pictures! The trip looks like a ton of fun! I want to go see Mt. Rushmore!
Kevin and I were talking last night. We are thinking of coming out there next spring to look for some work. It is up in the air right now, depending on whether we can afford it or not, but if we were able to, would you mind if we stayed with you? I don't have your email, otherwise I would have emailed you.
