The next day we had reservations for the US Capitol tour. Our tour guide was a girl that Brianna knew from Troy. We was very crowded and we had to wait over an hour in the tunnel. The kids played charades adn time did pass. We really enjoyed the tour. Congress wasn't in session but it is a very interesting building full of beautiful art works. After our tour, we hurried over to the Archives. We had a reservation so we were able to avoid an hour wait in line. We got to go where the "National Treasures" are. The kids thought it was pretty cool. We then WALKED to the Intl. Spy Museum for lunch. WALKED past the FBI building and WALKED to the White House. We couldn't get a tour there but did get to take pictures outside. We WALKED to the Old Post Office and took the glass elevator up to the "bird's eye" view of the city. We found a magnet that said, We walked our feet off in Washington D.C." and of course we bought it. We then WALKED back to the Metro and Went to the hotel. We had to take a long escalator to our hotel. It was a bit scary for those of us afraid of heights
